Dr. Bruce L. Howe is a results-oriented healthcare professional with over 38 years of demonstrated success encompassing: private practice; research and product development; building and growing three highly successful businesses in nutrition; professional speaker, lecturer and author of his soon-to-be-released book, “Inflammation: Conquer The Flame Within.”

He is the owner of two nutritional patents and two patents pending. Dr. Howe has co-authored “Phenolic and Antioxidant Activity of Saskatoon Berry (Amelanchier alnifolia) Pomace Extract”, Journal of Medicinal Food 01;2014:. He has been a consultant to numerous nutritional companies regarding formulations and product development. To date, he has formulated over 60 nutritional products, including products for: neurotransmitter support, gut health, superfoods, proteins, probiotics, inflammation control, cardiovascular, cognitive function, detoxification and weight loss formulas, to name a few.

Dr. Howe is the founder and former CEO of Doctors for Nutrition, where he formulated products specifically targeted to health care professionals, developing one of the first ever SuperFood products promoting the values of ORAC (antioxidant value).

He is the founder, former President, and Chief Technical officer of BioPharma Scientific and To Go Brands Inc., a nutritional sales and marketing company focused on both health care professionals and the retail market. He was the formulator of 15 different products ranging from Green Superfoods to phytonutrient/antioxidants, protein powders, omega3, and probiotic products for adults, pregnant moms, and kids. Dr. Howe spearheaded both BioPharma Scientific, and To Go Brands launch to over 4,000 health care practitioners, and over 20,000 retail outlets. During the launch of these companies, he acquired a cGMP contract manufacturing facility for dietary supplements.

Dr. Howe is currently the owner and co-founder of Nutragen Health Innovations. A company focused on the development and marketing of premium whole food nutritional remedies backed by science for the reduction of inflammation and detoxification. These products are USDA certified organic, gluten, soy, and dairy free. Pure for the body and the planet, packaged in eco-friendly glass and bio-compostable materials. They are marketed exclusively to the healthcare practitioner channel.

Dr. Howe has an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and is a graduate of Northwestern University Health Science (Formerly Northwestern College of Chiropractic) where he graduated with a Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic (DC). He is a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN), International and American Association of Certified Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN). He resides in Solana Beach, California, with his wife and two sons.
