Dr. Necela is the first chiropractor to ever to achieve Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) status as offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders and National Alliance of Medical Auditing Specialists. The CPMA program is the only certified curriculum that teaches coding and insurance professionals how to audit and document medical charts according to CPT guidelines developed by the AMA and Medicare’s 1995 and 1997 E/M Guidelines. Dr. Necela is also a Certified Professional Coder and Certified Compliance Professional (Physician Specialty). He is a member of the American Medical Billers Association, the Health Care Compliance Association and the Association for Health Care Auditors and Educators

In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Necela is a popular speaker who lectures nationally on strategies for proper chiropractic billing, coding, documentation, collections and sound business management.
