Heather Miller


Heather is a California-, Hawaii-, and Nationally-Licensed Acupuncturist, as well as being certified in Acupuncture Sports Medicine. She is also a Foundation Training Instructor. A Central Coast native, Heather graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. In addition, she holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the four-year program at Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine.


Heather has been a licensed acupuncturist since 2008 and her practice is located on the tranquil central coast of the California beach town of Morro Bay. Heather’s practice, Pacific Jade Acupuncture, has also joined up with Dr. Lisa Gleason (Physiatrist), bringing an alternative approach to treating pain, orthopedic, and neurological issues. Heather specializes in, but is not limited to, treating orthopedic and neurological issues and sports injuries, and she enjoys a growing reputation within the surfing community. From time to time she interns with the medical team for the World Surf League (WSL), working with the world’s top surf athletes.


Outside the office, Heather can be found surfing, practicing yoga, camping, traveling (to Hawaii several times a year), or simply enjoying family life with her husband and son in Cayucos, where they reside.
