Mrs. Slaski attended The Pennsylvania State University, and completed her undergraduate degree in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with an Athletic Training emphasis.  Upon graduating, she became a Board Certified Athletic Trainer.

Mrs. Slaski continued her education by attending Old Dominion University, where she earned a Masters of Education in 2009. While at Old Dominion University, she worked with numerous nationally ranked NCAA Division I teams, including Men’s Soccer and Women’s Basketball; both teams were Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Conference champions and attended the Sweet 16 in their respective national playoff brackets.

After graduation, Mrs. Slaski worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Lehigh University from 2009-2012. While at Lehigh University, she was the primary athletic trainer for Field Hockey, Men’s Basketball, Baseball, and Rowing. Throughout her three years, Mrs. Slaski was a part of the Men’s Basketball 2009-2010 and 2011-2012 Patriot League Championships and First and Second Round NCAA appearances.

In addition to Mrs. Slaski’s extensive athletic training experience, she has devoted much attention to her research interests. While at Old Dominion University she focused her research in ACL injury risk factors, lower body biomechanics, and prevention programs. Mrs. Slaski also assisted with multiple research projects with different branches of the military, including US Navy Special Forces. She was able to continue her interests in research while at Lehigh University, where Mrs. Slaski was the Research Coordinator for a Philadelphia based company evaluating brainwaves in concussed Division I student-athletes.

Currently, Mrs. Slaski works as the Director of Clinical Research for Sport & Spine Rehab Clinical Research Foundation. As the Director of Clinical Research she identifies funding opportunities, presents and publishes current research findings, develops research initiatives, and conducts research at all 7 Sport & Spine Rehab locations. Her research areas include injury prevention, best practices, concussion evaluation and treatment, and effective treatment techniques including Biofreeze® and Thera-Band® products. In addition, Mrs. Slaski has created and implemented a clinic outreach program for medical services at Connelly School of the Holy Child, a girls private middle and high school. As the Director of Athletic Training, she has created concussion management protocols, designed athletic training facilities, assisted with budget and inventory needs, established at injury documentation process, and coordinated care between all involved companies.

Mrs. Slaski is licensed in the state of Maryland and Virginia to practice as a Certified Athletic Trainer and holds certifications for American Red Cross Professional Rescuer, CPR, AED, and CPR/AED Instructor.
