Dr. Lawson graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1993 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Lawson’s bachelor’s degree is in Human Anatomy and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas (RGV). Prior to studying at Parker College of Chiropractic, Dr. Lawson served in the U.S. Air Force.
After graduating from chiropractic college, Dr. Lawson went on to study for three additional years in the specialties of orthopedics and pain management. After taking his board exams, he was awarded Diplomate status in Chiropractic Orthopedics from the American Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists and a Diplomate in Pain Management from the American Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Lawson has been certified in manipulation under anesthesia and has held the position as an adjunct professor at Texas College of Chiropractic, training other doctors of chiropractic in the art and science of manipulation under anesthesia. Dr. Lawson is certified in acupuncture as well.
Dr. Lawson has been practicing for over 23 years. Since he began practicing chiropractic, Dr. Lawson has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care.
