Doctor of Chiropractic, CSP, Director of Education for Chiropractic and Podiatry for Performance Health

Dr. Dana Mackison has been Director of Education for Chiropractic and Podiatry for Performance Health for the last 11 years. In this role he is directly responsible for providing support and training to both the teaching and clinic faculty at all 17 of the Chiropractic Colleges and 8 Podiatry Colleges. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing a number of speakers providing CE programs on tropics related to rehab and active care, office compliance issues and pain management. He is also responsible for scholarship programs that Performance Health makes available throughout a number of the Chiropractic and Podiatry colleges.

Dr. Mackison graduated in 1977 from Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri and for 24 years was in a successful private practice in Carrollton, Texas. Prior to joining Performance Health he held the position as Director of Parker Seminars and Post-Grad director for Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas. During that time he was involved in overseeing the Parker Seminars and continuing education programs and the yearly Parker Las Vegas Event.

Dr. Mackison holds a CCSP and is board eligible DABCO. He has completed post graduate course work in nutrition, x-ray, neurology, as well as Cox, Thompson and Activator techniques. His years of practice involved a family orientated community based practice with an emphasis on sports, nutrition and follow-up rehabilitation.
